Most spiders can't see colors; they can only differentiate between light and dark.

That might be where it's located but I'd say since it's part of the United States the geography is irrelevant. Wtf do I know.

the way i've always understood it...

technically, everything south of the panama canal is south america. everything north is north america.

but then we throw in central america and the caribbean/west indies cause white people want to differentiate between america/canada from the brown/black people who make up the rest of north america. so central america is everything between the white countries and south america.
