It's a reverse argument, you're saying if football is so good, why don't Americans follow it (I've already pointed out why). Take Britain/US out of it, ask yourself why people in:

Europe
Africa
Asia
Australia
South America

All choose to follow football instead of egg chasing when some of these places are massively different culturally to Britain.

Honestly man its one of the most unpredictable. How do u figure its not

Sure there's some degree in all sports but one single football play prob requires more strategy than a whole soccer match

Screw you. Hockey is divine. Non-American? Detroit is called Hockeytown for a reason. But I agree soccer is not a man's sport. Cricket either.

Foreign terminology is difficult to pick up for any sport one isnt knowledgable in (although maybe it does have more odd terms than other sports maybe thats what 216 meant by complicated??). I mean if I was gonna teach you how to play it tho it wouldnt take that long and you wouldnt be confused over the basics of the game. It probably wouldnt take that long to watch a game and get the general rules tbh

Although I dont think there has been any sport for me that has taken me that long to get (could be because i grew up watching sports a lot tho). It took me a while to understand the basics of cricket but after watching a full game in Australia I think i generally know whats going on.

I personally think American Rugby is rubbish, but people like things for whatever reasons they choose.

They may be massively different culturally to Britain but they still have a cultural connection to that sport that's why they enjoy it.

So why do Latin Americans have a cultural connection to football (soccer) and North Americans don't?

Football is a far superior sport. I can understand preferring certain aspects (physicality?) but overall there is no doubt. "Soccer" is the best sport I have ever come across.

There probably is more amount of strategy in American Football due to the way it is played, but I think it is fair to say that the tactical knowledge of players isn't at the same level (comparing top lever performers in both sports) because in football a lot more of what happens is dictated by the way the game flows, with less of an impact from the coach.
