Well, reasons 1 & 2 are bizarre guilt by association nonsense along the lines of: football can be enjoyed by everyone, therefor only the lowest common denominator enjoy it, and those who do not enjoy are consequently above average individuals.
Reason 3 would only apply to women or gays. What straight guy wants emotional affectation from their father?

I've watched every Superbowl since the Patriots/Packers game back before they had Bradey and Favre walked all over them. The drama and the commercials are actually compelling. But trying to keep up with the rest of the season is awful.

Keeping up with the rest of the season is awesome if you have friends and play fantasy football. Otherwise, I would agree with you.

Being the Min/max person you are. I think you would love it. People that are into rpg games tend to love it.
