Vanilla Chai Tea deserves to be sweetened and definitely benefits from it.

Are you kidding?! The vanilla sweetens it, and chai is already sweet enough! Maybe if you want to drink a sugar drink as opposed to actual tea :P

that's exactly what I want a sugar drink....it needs to be more sweet than the flavoring allows for.
