I saw this guy once who had sideburns tattooed to his face. WTF.

I'm going on 17 but I've been mistaken for 12. My boyfriend's a year younger than me, and he's been mistaken for a 20 year old. We've gotten harassed in public by passers-by saying my boyfriend's a pedo/creep or whatever.

But there's also been a few isolated incidents when I've been mistaken for a 20yo. Somebody once asked me what my favourite bar or whatever is and I was just like "hey buddy, I'm underage". Another incident was when I was in a university waiting for somebody when some french guy asked what classes I have.

No one looks my age.

I not only look like I'm still in high-school, I act like it too. It will help me out later in life, but I'm not sure if I want to be one of those creepy 40 year olds that hunt for 20 year olds, even if I could easily get away with it.

Sometimes I think I am starting to look my age, especially upon discovering a few grey hairs. Probably stress-related, but still; my family grays early.

But a few months ago, I was at a pizza restaurant with my family that has a buffet of pizza and pasta. They brought the check, and charged two adults and two children under twelve. I was 24, and my sister was 14 at the time. Both of us were mortified, but my mom was all, "No, no. We're getting the cheap buffet. Keep your mouths shut."

That was the first time I'd been mistaken for under 12 in the past few years, but I do get a lot of people at work thinking I just graduated high school and am 18.

Everyone always thinks I am younger than I really am. I guess I look young.

I typically get:

People: You look young for your age. You look like you're in your early twenties.
Me: I'm 23...
People: Wtf, you're only 23?!?!

So I guess I look my age.
