It's pretty funny seeing someone like slappy "voicing support for polite moderation". I'm not aware of any poor treatment he ever experienced as the hands of the evil, tyrannical mods here. In fact, what I remember most about him was his penchant for being quite impolite and insulting to people he didn't agree with and the fact that he had a hostile relationship with one of the other newbies. I'm not really sure what mods could possibly have done about that situation under the vegan/slappy theory of moderation, since according to them, newbies should be free to be as hostile as they want without interference from the mods.
