I've barely been involved in this thread and haven't had much interaction with Whiskey in other sections of the forum, but you still feel the need to call out every moderator because they might have behaved badly. I hate to say that you're making a mountain out of a molehill here. Your post basically screams "backseat moderating". |

two things:
1: is there an accessible list of the moderators? i have a vague idea who some might be, but i'm not certain. 2: I can see where everyone is coming from here, and it's a shame when things like this happen. i get that people rag on each other for kicks... i did a buncha years of concrete and at first i thought they didn't like me cuz they were doing that, but really they just wanted me to respond wittily and somewhat abrasively to pass time and see that i would stick up for myself. it's a weird thing, but it's actually productive. but i also see where vegangelica is coming from. it's hard to watch someone get offended by way of not really being privy to the workings of a community. but that's exactly why this happened... because it's a community. mods are mods cuz they've been here awhile, and they're probably the most comfortable... so they are probably more prone to dicking around and testing boundaries, perhaps unwittingly sometimes, and perhaps sometimes crossing a line. in this case, i'd chalk it up to sh*ts and giggles, of which i'm sure whiskey is more than welcome to join in on. HOWEVER, i do think that the thread started about vegangelica'a lectures was in bad taste. i do realize she can be pretty intense, but i don't think she's someone this forum should so vehemently try to exile... or even someone i think should not be here at all. her contributions are as genuine as they come. i saw a comment about the length of her posts, and i remembered the great breakdown she gave to a guy who was looking for opinions about a tune he was making. it was huge! that's awesome to me. she's supportive and wants to help in what ways she can. sure. maybe she over-reacts a bit sometimes, but whether we all are guilty of that or not, we're all guilty of something. she's just passionate, as far as i can tell. i say leave'er be and that out of respect for an openness i think people desire the thread she's being ridiculed in be deleted. she's just another human guys, and that thread is genuinely hurtful. |

That's good, I'm glad you took in the way it was intended, so Vege's rant was just an attempt to rain on our parade.
