I like your thread idea, Whiskey. Breakfast is my favorite meal!

Currently, I eat the same "unconventional" breakfast almost every day.

I eat a bowl of the following mixture:

* cooked (frozen) broccoli, other mixed vegetables and beans (garbanzo, kidney)
* home-cooked black beans
* home-cooked quinoa (rinsed well before simmering it for around 30 minutes in water with a 2:1 ratio of water:quinoa)
* whole walnuts
* ketchup.

^ Stir and enjoy!

My breakfast looks kind of like this:

Then, if I'm still hungry, I also make a relatively conventional bowl of oatmeal (by microwaving whole quick oats in water), and mix in raisins and almond drink fortified with calcium and vitamin D to give a nice hot/cold/sweet combination.

^ Actually, these two dishes often serve as my dinner and dessert, too!

Congratulations for being the very first serious, relevant, and detailed reply in this thread.
