Guys I was in contact with some british woman a while back and she called everyday from England. Anyway whenever she talked to me on phone I could hear her eating something. I could swear it was cup noodles.

According to wiki its a fruit preserve and what distinguishes it from jam is the peels added to the final product. Interesting I always thought it was jam also.
I eat my marmalade "shredless" which is without the peel and it's much nicer.
