You live in the US right? Do they have things like Falafel and Hummus over there?
Yeah we do, although I don't know if I've ever seen knafeh. We actually have a nice little Lebanese place here and it's so good, especially for me since there's a lot of vegetarian friendly foods. Falafel and hummus are pretty popular here though, but I prefer tzatziki sauce over hummus, personally.

Ah yes, like I mentioned somewhere before, knafeh is pretty much unique to Palestinian bakeries. Thats why you never seen it. But there might be Palestinian people who immigrated to the US and opened a bakery in the US and brought these kind of things with them to the US though.

Which state do you live in, just curious? Also, Im pretty surprised you've replied so honestly about this, usually your posts seem to be very short and irrelevant.

Well Google came up with zilch so I can't give you a scientific explanation, but I think it has to do with the spices in the salsa interacting with the flavours in the coffee.

I had a bialy whisky apple sandwich. Basically I softened the apples with butter, cinnamon, brown sugar and allspice then dumped a bunch of whiskey all over it. Put that on a bialy with some apple butter I made out of Gala's and Granny Smiths a few months ago.
