The council decided to cut the grass outside for like the last five hours. I think this is karma punishing me for the state I was in last night.

My dog is barking and has been for the last hour or so. He lives in the chicken field where we grow our potatoes also and cabbage and other veggies like that.

You grow vegetables in the chicken field? So why don't you just call it a garden and keep the chickens elsewhere?

Coz its weird, the pen for the chickens is like, resting along the edges of the vegetable garden ( about half an acre ) and whenever we let them out they just run around and hang out.

the sound of my electric fan whirring

sound of Buddhist chanting in the temple behind my house, along with the click-clocking of a stick on wood (accompanying the chants)

So do they run around or do they hang out? One tends to preclude the other. And yes, I am being intentionally difficult.
