Yeah for me it's a tie between that and the re-release of The Floor is Lava as most anticipated game of the year.

I forgot about that game. I remember playing that off floppy discs for about 2 years of my childhood. I dont know if it was Goodbye Galaxy I just remember Commander Keen was a total boss and when you are about 10 that game is really hard.

I have a whole CD-ROM of Apogee games. They were the best. I remember playing them throughout my childhood... Bio Menace, Cosmo's Cosmic Adventure, Duke Nukem, Wacky Wheels...

Commander Keen was my fav though so I had to throw that in there.

This is Goodbye Galaxy:

I miss it!

Didnt realize they made that many. I had Commander Keen in Invasion of the Vorticons. Was the first one that came out in 1990. Really want to play the others now.

Looked like this:

^ Yeah I had that one, too! You should totally play Goodbye Galaxy. It's so awesome. Maybe it's just 'cause it gets me nostalgic.

I have tried replaying old games from then and been completely underwhelmed. Fire and Ice, Megarace, and a few others I had downloaded and tried. I just looked at the pixels in disgust and thanked god computers had come such a long way.

Even playing lots of old N64 games with friends isnt the same. Learned to just let them good memories be memories. I think with anything, things change and never are the way they were.
