Because of my youthful an innocent nature, there are many things about the internet and life I and many others here won’t know. This thread is where I shall ask all my pertinent questions, and you can feel free to post some sarcastic or malicious responses, or ask your own if you feel like it.
1. I know how to use spoiler tags on here, but is there any way of using them OFF Music Banter, such as in a Word document? 2. Don’t you just hate that feeling when you come out of the shower completely wet, but then suddenly realise there’s not a towel in the place at all, so you either have to put on your clean clothes while still wet, or dash naked back to your room? Is this a defect in me or a problem common to all humans? 3. Is it wrong to post online naked whilst having that experience? 4. Is being ginger a sin I am accountable for? 5. Why is it that despite sprouts being so universally loathed are universally consumed? 6. Why is it that no matter how much running I do, I never get any better? 7. Are there any fit girls online here in my age range (17+) in the Manchester / Sheffield area? |

I personally think brussel sprouts are amazing. For a snack, you can try cutting them in half and fry them gently in a pan along with some whole cloves of garlic and then sprinkle some salt and pepper over them.

Some people run and gradually get better and stronger, but to get even better requires more discipline and work. I'd say anybody that goes out running 2 or 3 times a week and runs for about an hour on each ocassion at a good pace is fit. |

Strangely enough, I didn't really have a problem with them at all before reading it, but when I tried to notice the flavour a bit more I really noticed the bitterness, which probably reflects a bit on the psychological side of the whole issue that I think wasn't really given enough attention in the article: if you are expecting something to taste strange, then it's far more likely to. I've been doing this for years, but I'm still a fairly average runner, although recently I qualified for the under 21's Manchester County cross country team (barely!). You have a point with the liquid intake, I find it to be a real problem and very inconvenient to carry. Quote:

I love Brussel Sprouts, I used to call them mini-cabbages when I was little haha.
1. Spoiler tags cannot be used outside of forums as far as I'm aware. 2. Happens to me too. 3. Yes. Now I'll always wonder if you're secretly naked. 4. When you're young it is yes but you will soon learn when you're older girls love hawt gingers. I am a fiend myself. 6. You probably never regularly run. You'll do some running for a good 2 weeks, not notice any changes and quit? I dunno but I always notice a change in my stamina after a very short period of time, stamina is so easy to build. 7. NAW.

![]() I think there's something uncomfortable about my skin touching leather in general though. Quote:
The difference is that by training you can supposedly increase the distance you are able to run for, but with sprinting it is harder because you're relying a lot more on your physiology, which is not very easily changed by training. Quote:
Never mind, there's got to be a few Manchester babes out of the 55,000 registered users here. Although from what I know of my local area, girls here aren't into internet forums that much. |

While cardiovascular endurance is certainly one of the most important things for endurance running, doing so with added resistance really makes your body work a lot harder. That way, your endurance for running sans weight and whatnot will be much higher.
