I've been wondering this for a while and can't think of a better place to ask - if I put someone "on ignore" here (control panel - edit ignore list), I can't see any of the content of their posts (just a bar saying "posted by f.ex SchoolBusSeatSniffer who is on your ignore list"), but to what extent does this actually prevent them having any contact with you?
Among other things, can they still use the member email privilage?
And most importantly, can you still see them in the shoutbox?
