Yeah, these jokes may seem merely blasphemous at first, but a lot of them do a good job at pointing out some of the logical contradictions christians may have to accept, depending on how conventional their christianity is.
There's a lot of people who believe God grants stuff like home runs, at least according to the american television shows we get on the telly. The same people may have to accept that God does not involve himself the same way in the lives of Africa's starving peoples. If you are all powerful, all knowing and all seeing, does that make you all responsible?
