How many people here have tried crossdressing?

First thread I've made in a while. I was reading somewhere that some 80+% of men have crossdressed. So, taking MB as a sample population, I wanted to see if this figure is accurate

I'm including incidents when you were a kis as part of this. So please vote.

Sneer 08-21-2011 12:20 PM

Probably, when I was a kid. Whacking on your mum's frock would clearly be a blast, add high heels into the equation and jeez, what an afternoon.

GeddyBass2112 08-21-2011 12:27 PM

I'll come out and confess I'm a full-on crossdresser (female to male). >.<

djchameleon 08-21-2011 12:50 PM

I can't remember but most likely it happened when I was younger. I just voted yes. This question is almost like asking have you ever played house or as a girl had a tea party

There's a major difference between childish experimentation and adult crossdressing. I only included the stuff about being a kid as it was one of the categories used in the original stats.

A few friends and myself crossdressed for Halloween one year and it was a blast. I wore a black dress, tights, a bra and high-heels as well as make up. I had long hair at the time as well so I could have easily passed for a girl. My friend's girlfriend let us wear her clothes. Fun times.

Mykonos 08-21-2011 01:45 PM

I'm sure I did as a child. I'd quite like to try it out now, but for various reasons I can't. Maybe when I leave home I might experiment with a more feminine look or something.

I know there is a difference but judging from your OP, you wanted to lump it all together. You could have made an option in the poll, if you wanted it separate.

You could have put "yes but only during childhood" as an option

crash_override 08-21-2011 02:18 PM

I tried on a bra once as a child, that's when I realized I'd be one sexy bitch is I were a female. If there is a god... damn him to his own hell. Although I'm a pretty sexy man as well. Without a vagina, I am powerless.

Mykonos 08-21-2011 02:40 PM

You sir are speaking my language. Except the sexy man part.

CanwllCorfe 08-21-2011 02:54 PM

Only as a kid. I went to school with a guy who used to be ordinary, then started to dress a bit femininely, and now is full on transgender. He was a bit weird, but I am too I suppose.

Burning Down 08-21-2011 06:02 PM

Not counting wearing ties and suit jackets for concert band and some other stuff at school, I have put on men's clothes. Just my dad's clothes though, because we are about the same size, but based on that I'd be a pretty good looking man!

FETCHER. 08-21-2011 06:49 PM

I've only ever worn my dads massive shirts or my brothers jeans. For fashion aspects only. Plus I own a few pairs of guys jeans because ladies apparently don't have legs my lenth so I've had to buy mens.

Dayvan Cowboy 08-21-2011 07:21 PM

When I was little, I was a full on tomboy. I wore Mtl canadiens jerseys and baggy pants and wanted to be a skateboarder

I eventually grew out of it and started liking my little ponies and **** but to this day I sometimes buy boy's dress shirts because I like them.

Queen Boo 08-21-2011 07:45 PM

Zombie Kurt Cobain for Halloween. Two sports bras, homeade Flipper shirt, intentional bedhead, and loads of green grease. Nobody recognized me but everybody was freaked out. It was alright.

Kirby 08-21-2011 08:34 PM

I dressed as a woman for halloween. I wore a purple wig, dress, tight and Heels.

Would I do it again for fun? Probably not.

ThePhanastasio 08-21-2011 10:30 PM

Yep. Probably the most in depth was as Brad Majors in Rocky Horror - because I got stripped down to a wife beater and tightie-whities...and I "stuffed" for full effect.

I sometimes "stuffed" as Frank N. Furter, too, but that was me dressing as a man who was dressing as a woman, (very Victor/Victoria!) so I'm not sure that's the kind of cross-dressing you're talking about.

Also went through a weird phase where I thought it was awesome to dress up as Freddie Mercury, fake mustache and all.

Howard the Duck 08-22-2011 09:55 PM

i crossdressed a lot as a teenager - i was heavily into Bowie's glam phase and wondered how i would look like as a woman in public

during the New Romantic years, i put on make-up when i go out - eyeliner, foundation, lipgloss

Ska Lagos Jew Sun Ra 08-22-2011 10:45 PM

Sadly, no.

DoctorSoft 08-23-2011 04:18 AM

No way Jose

14232949 08-23-2011 04:41 PM

Not here to judge. Everyone to their own.

Never been tempted to do so myself in all honesty, personally I can't see the appeal.

GeddyBass2112 08-24-2011 02:23 PM

I spent most of today dressed like a man. It felt GOOD!

Scarlett O'Hara 08-24-2011 10:13 PM

^ That is soooo cute.

I dressed up like Albert Einstein on New Years 09/10. It was so sexy.

GuD 05-28-2014 01:52 PM

I was a pretty confused teenager and used to crossdress back then at home. Nothing too elaborate- skirts, shaved legs and arms, bit of makeup. Didn't pass really. I don't have an androgynous face. It was weird because, much as I tried, I've never genuinely been attracted to other dudes. And from my experience girls pretty much make the assumption that dudes who crossdress or don't identify as male are queer. Either that or they lose interest. Frustrating times, they were. Now, I guess I'll just say there's more than one way to be a straight male. Some dudes are just a little bit feminine sometimes.

Scarlett O'Hara 05-28-2014 10:51 PM

I've crossed dressed, I'll post a picture when I'm home.

DwnWthVwls 05-29-2014 10:16 AM

Nope, but I let a female friend put makeup on me while she was working at Sephora and one time I wore a sweater vest.

idk if that counts for anything.

This was my wardrobe through most of high school. Along with plaid shirts and jeans.

i went through a huge goth/industrial phase in my early teens

lots of flowing black dresses, heels, black and white tights, and man could i rock that eyeliner

it never had anything to do with gender identity....just that i wanted to be Rozz Williams

I would have taken Carlton.

Which people would make fun of me and call me that.

Then I would break out into the dance like the proper nerd that I am.

Sansa Stark 05-29-2014 10:42 AM

I dress like a girl everyday does that count

James 05-29-2014 10:48 AM

I have one tshirt that is supposed to be for women but that's as far as I go.

DwnWthVwls 05-29-2014 10:56 AM

@DJ - I was just messing with that part. But I haven't worn one since an 8th grade dance, and I don't plan to anytime soon. heh

Anybody that's met me, can you even imagine a crossdressing Smeenus? *shudder*

Even I wouldn't wanna see that.

Carpe Mortem 05-29-2014 03:49 PM

I buy men's shirts often, and big Jnco jean type pants and capris.

And mainly men's sunglasses.
