The thread should read "Windows OS or Mac OS"

Unix if yer nasty.
This argument has been had a hundred times in here. Everyone agrees that it's simply easier to make the distinction between Mac and PC by using those terms. But on a hardware level, they're certainly different, obviously, so it's more than just the operating system that's being compared here, especially when one of the comparisons is that of upgrading hardware and cost considerations.

Didn't bother going through the thread, but yeah. I should make a note to refrain from posting before the morning coffee.

It certainly seems like he was an atheist of sorts, but he subscribed to Zen Buddhism philosophy.

Yeah I'm pretty sure he was. Here's an excerpt from his autobiography:

Kinda like Sam Harris! Well, in a way. At least when it comes to meditation.

We did the whole separate phoneline/56k thing for a moment but switched to cable quickly; despite being in a very small community, cable was available due to most people there having sufficient disposable income.

Screw 'em both. I prefer Windows to the Apple OS, but I preferred the RISC OS, used by Nasa, but destined for obscurity. They now make chips for Blackberry.

I'll check that dictionary, but in the meantime I'm impressed - as is everyone else in the world - by your eloquence, obvious accomplishments and success, and the evidence of your blazingly high intelligence.
