Aaand I'll never own it. Maybe in a few years.

I'd love one but I'm probably never getting one. Why the hell would I get something without a DVD drive anyways. Might as well just get a MacBook Air, it's basically the same thing.

I always thought that as well, until I realized all of my music is digital. I don't really use CDs anymore. I never thought about DVDs, but I always watch DVDs on T.V. If it's a digital file, I put it on my iPhone to watch, because my computer (Dell) is shit with movies (as it freezes every few minutes). I'd be up for a MacBook Air too, naturally.

It just wouldn't be practical for me at the moment because all the composition software and other music software I use for school is on CD Rom. I know people who went to class with netbooks and iPads, etc, only to find out that the computers they bought were useless for 90% of their courses.

Ahh I see! Yeah, I haven't run into any issues like that just yet. All mine are design related, and so revolve around the Adobe suite. There is the solution to get an external CD/DVD drive, if need be. You can get cheapies at sites like Newegg and such ($30+). I don't even know why I'm thinking about stuff like this. I'm not even close to being able to afford it. :( Oh well. In time, in time.

I have both but I still use the Windows PC for all my work and for playing music too.

Apple though is great for the portable devices - use the iPad, iPod Touch & and the iPhone.

But when it comes to work though Windows rules.

Everybody has a PC. Most Mac users have a PC as well.

PC = Personal Computer

Mac = Macintosh (Apple Inc.) Which runs on a personal computer.

The thread should read "Windows OS or Mac OS"

Unix if yer nasty.
