I never got the whole 'more user-friendly' argument either. If anything Macs are an absolute nightmare to try and use. I normally don't pick sides on the Apple vs Everyone Else argument but in my multiple attempts at trying to put up with Macs I've never found one advantage of them over PCs so I'm fully behind Microsoft.

I've started using a Mac in work recently and I find it really awkward to use compared to a PC. OSX is one thing but there's other things like the keyboard arrangement and Apple's bloody software restrictions that irritate me. I guess they're not too bad once you get used to them but it's going to take some getting used to.

I'm actually taking a mac class this semester, and we're all using Macbook Pros. There isn't really anything hard about them once you figure out all the gestures. Quite easy, in fact. But the level of control is something a PC user like me (especially an IT guy) might find off-putting.
One thing I do like about Macs are their apparent ease of integration into things like file-sharing with a PC, which requires nothing more than choosing to share files and enabling SMB so it can talk to PCs. On the PC side, however, there's a crap load of stuff you have to do to even be able to see a Mac on the network. I Successfully joined a Mac to a PC-based domain in Active Directory, and 90 percent of the headache was wrestling with the domain controller and its security policies, whereas the Mac was ready to go in a few steps. So there's that.

Continuing with the whole PC vs Mac debate here's a picture that made me lul. Okay it's not correct but it's funny all the same.
