The situation that I'm talking about, I was just comparing iPods to other companies and using the sample videos to compare them side to side with other ones. Sony Vaio has gone down in price actually. They aren't as expensive as they used to be.

Ghehe, I wonder who makes these reports because there's no way they're going to be better than IBM's

Yes but IBMs/Lenovo's are way more expensive than the Vaio. Anyways, I like a wide screen display and most IBM's don't have that option because they are mainly business computers. Two of my friends have IBM ThinkPads and the screens are both the 14.1" square-ish, non-glossy types. They are great computers though, but when someone can get exactly what they want (i.e. what the Vaio offers) for a cheaper price, well they'd go for the cheaper option (the Vaio).

I've owned both a Mac and several PCs. The vast majority of things wont work practically with a mac. And from a purely objective point of view, you get a lot less with a mac.
Despite this, I don't get frustrated with my mac the way my PC always used to make my blood pressure sky rocket. If you need to use your computer for anything interesting, ignore the macs. If you just want a family computer or something to give your grandmother or something, probably consider one. Even if the price is unreasonable. |

if you think the majority of people who buy macs do it because they know what they're talking about, you're off your rocker. |
