I love firefox for it's add-ons. They really make using my computer a lot more convenient and comfortable. And they're only there when I want them to be (I always want to choose what I install )
Yeah, Firefox definitely wins hands-down in the add-ons department.

Both chrome and safari win when it comes to speed.

You know? I hate apple as a company and everything they make, I hate the OS and I hate people who don't know anything about computers trying to convince me a mac is better. I hate typical mac users (don't ask, just do what you're told). I'm not talking to you good sir, I'm just explaining what I hate.
But you know? Talking about macs all the time, looking at them, I just found myself searching the internet for a too cheap second hand iMac G4.
There's something interesting about these machines. I keep getting dragged back into them even altough I think they're utter crap compared to PC's for everything I do on them...

These stupid space age design things are messing with my head.

One of us... one of us...

But do note, I'm definitely not a Mac head. I just prefer them. If I was in love with computers and waited in line for some special Apple product, then I would consider myself one. But I just like them. I'm not crazy about them, because I'm not crazy about computers. I have met some rabid Apple heads though. I think it's a bit silly.

If I think about reasons why I would buy a mac. The only reason I can think of is the design. I'm not kidding, there's nothing a mac has that I prefer to a PC.
Yeah, maybe the installation. It's so simple. But then this is because you don't have such a broad choice of hardware. Hmmm, no that's a no too. I see no reason but the design to want a mac. I'm sure there's reasons for other people, but I can't think of one that's applicable to me...

That's like me. I do know someone who lined up outside an Apple store overnight just so they could get the new iPad.

Oh that's really common for mac people here. They all do that.
Everything in their houses that has a plug, has a little apple on it or at least iPad connectivity.

And here we go again; An iPod. Yes it works pretty good, but it doesn't do anything more than another Mp3 player, it sounds worse than most mp3 players except for the really cheap one and here we go again: It's ****ing expensive. What do you pay for?

I know my stepbrother and stepsister both waited outside of Walmart in a tent for the new Wii. And there was all of 3 other people waiting. A Wii? I mean they're cool, but it's just a video game system. There will be more created. Thousands even! It's okay, you can wait.

I don't see why I'd need to use a separate computer for the plugins. All the hardware that will be in my setup will support a 32bit OS, as well as 64. I have to use the plugins inside the host DAW anyway, so why not just dual boot with one 32bit OS on one drive, and a 64bit OS on another, each with their respective software installed? Both will be supported by the hardware, and each boot will be native to itself, software-wise.

I guess if I really valued being able to operate the two instances simultaneously in separate boxes, that would come in handy, simply because I wouldn't have to reboot, but it would neither be practical, or worth the investment, for what I'm doing.

There is no product in the world that I can ever imagine myself doing that for.

You will find out once you have to reinstall one of the two operating systems .
