Dude it sucks. But it's less about the quality of the building itself, and more about the quality of the people shitting, or making any of the loud & inconsiderate noises they make. I mean.. I don't hear the sound turds make when they hit the water or anything... But I hear the sounds those people make.

It's worse with the neighbors downstairs. They have what I'm assuming is an autistic kid or something, is about 5 years old, who does nothing but scream and constantly talk loudly without using words, only squeals. The mom bathes him in their bathroom, which is directly under mine, and he uses this opportunity to bang against the tub and flail around, screaming. Meanwhile, the mother seems to be encouraging him by sounding like she's doing the same. They're Indian, and she doesn't speak English, and she has a really high pitched voice. Sometimes I can't distinguish between the kid and the mom, and it has nothing to do with the FUCKING FLOOR SEPARATING THE TWO APARTMENTS... seriously.

Or the neighbor behind me who's black enough to really enjoy loud bass, but white enough for it to be cheesy bass lines... Yea, she apparently decided to put her SUBWOOFER against the wall directly where my head is when I'm sleeping. Fortunately she only plays music on special occasions, but those occasions invariably take place when I'm sleeping.

Heh.. I should have put this in the bitch box, maybe.

The subwoofer part reminds me of my last apartment. At that place the wall of my bedroom where the head of my bed was was also my neighbors living room wall. The dude was a trumpet player who worked evenings and when he got home at around one o'clock in the morning he'd practice a little free jazz on the old horn a couple feet from my head.

I'm usually the culprit - I was playing White Zombie at 1 in the morning and the dude in the house behind me were throwing stones at my window
