Yeh to be honest it is not quite worth going that far back. His n Hers and Different Class are the two I absolutely love. I am hoping to see them later this summer as they are in Ireland with the reunion tour.

I have a friend seeing them this summer. He ran into Jarvis on the street a couple of weeks ago. Needless to express, I hate my life and would like to move across the pond for such opportunities.

well, you're right. i'm not the adventurer type in terms of buying or even listening to albums. for instance, even if i, mysteriously, happend to like "Smells Like Teen Spirit" by Nirvana very much, I can't risk buying their album cause I'm afraid I'd get dissappointed.

Oppositely, would people here be willing though to listen a couple of Mariah Carey or Aretha's albums? I sincerely doubt it.

I know. I'm even, kind of bothered, by the lack of Aretha Franklin discussions here. I mean, she's like the ultimate legendary soul singer that shaped today's modern music. Even great artists like Kelly Clarkson, Christina Aguilera, Whitney, Mariah, Jennifer Hudson, Martina Mcbride, Yolanda Adams, Diana Ross, Celine, Shaniah, Toni Braxton, Gloria Estefan, Carole King, Mary J and so many more recognize the very great contribution of the Queen Of Soul.

in order to have a failure, you must have an achievement

so what are you trying to achieve here? converting the diverse spectrum of listeners to only like Top 40? converting every straight man to gay?

well, best of luck to you then

cos all you've managed to do here is become a punching bag for almost everybody and a laughing stock because of posting comments that have the mentality of an infant

the reason why they're insulting me is because i have certain opinions that doesn't match theirs. and suddenly gives me the 'troll' accusations. i don't know if i'd be happy or mad at your false interpretations of me, you make me sound like very smart and cunning, in a very negative way. i don't know what to say.

again, i'm not trolling. second, yes, i always bring the life at every place. and that's mainly because of my passion to be true to myself and without any pretentions.
pls read below definition of an "internet troll":-

1. Internet Troll

A person whose sole purpose in life is to seek out people to argue with on the internet over extremely trivial issues. Such arguments can happen on blogs, Facebook, Myspace and a host of others.

The best thing you can do to fight an internet troll is to not answer..or report them.

example:-

"God, Jeromy won't stop posting about Larry's bad spelling in that conversation."

"Yeah, I know, what a Internet Troll."

2. Internet Troll

A person who feeds off the anger of others as he enrages them over the internet.

Player 1:Ahh man i can't believe this they must be hackers!

Internet Troll:YOUMADBRO?

Player 1: Crys to himself

Troll: GROWS

3. Internet Troll

An Internet troll, or simply troll in Internet slang, is someone who posts controversial, inflammatory, irrelevant or off-topic messages in an online community, such as an online discussion forum or chat room, with the primary intent of provoking other users into an emotional response or to generally disrupt normal on-topic discussion.

To be a good Internet Troll you must copy and paste this definition all over the internet.

that's the problem.
not everybody hates Top 40 here, but if you're so narrow-minded, as I suggested, move to another forum which is more suited to your needs

rather than being a total douche here and thinking oh I left because the posters bullied me into leaving

if you have pertinent points to say, and use some thought before posting, you're not gonna be heckled at or made fun of

but when your comments have no factual basis or just simply shooting your mouth, expect a like response

all said and done, you're not being a failure, by your lack of depth and understanding, you're making yourself a target

when the laughter's over, most people will just ignore you

On the contrary, Aretha Franklin is highly regarded by most music lovers. Have you tried searching for an Aretha thread? If not, start one yourself then.

sure not everybody because that would be a blanket statement but a large majority of people here hates Top 40 and if you show any sort of liking for it then you have the shittiest taste in the world regardless of whatever else you may listen to that isn't Top 40.

i can understand the animosity

just pointing out that not everybody here is against it

and to dig up a recurring issue, Thee Virgin himself hates Justin Bieber, whom I love

how does he can then question other people's taste being different from his for various reasons, and then hate a popular Top 40 artist, a genre he so loves, whom I have the taste for?

do I question his taste or try to convert him?

no, i just let it be
