One can assume that you're referring to Judas Priest then (although Satan and a couple others might also apply, JP seems the most obvious). And I'm guessing you're referring to "Church" by ol' Lyle, yes?

So a cult member shot (and possibly ate) a priest in a church? Maybe?
Yes, yes, yes. You're 100% right. I'll release the next mystery in a moment...

Next mystery...

Little known track from Motorhead's 1993 album
Rush album featuring their first UK hit
Muse album; one of its tracks rips off a chopin waltz almost note for note
The last track on the album that opens with “21st Century Schizoid Man”

I love how the only one I know is the The Resistance.

In The Court of The Crimson King(Including The Return of the Fire Witch and The Dance of the Puppets) is the 4th one. So there was some kind of resistance in a court?

Well, the first Rush single to chart in the UK was from "A Farewell to Kings," I believe.
And the track of "Bastards" (the Motorhead album in question) that seems to best fit this scenario is "I Am the Sword"

So I'm going to guess that a King was killed by the sword of a resistance member in his court.

This is fun.

Dark Side Of The Moon?
Rocket Man?
A space theme maybe?

Well, I was gonna give someone else a chance, but ok. It's been 2 days.

So the Joe Satriani clue refers to "Surfing with the Alien" I'm assuming. And I think the other clue refers to Kai Hansen's tenure in Gamma Ray.

So the only thing I'm unclear on is who murders whom here. But I'm going to guess that an Alien from the Dark Side of the Moon blasts an astronaut to death with radiation.

This one's gonna be more free-form. The clues won't point to specific events or individuals, but they will make sense in the end and will weave a setting and story from which you can extrapolate what happened.

Here it is:

- Billy Joel album from the 90's
- Genesis' most notable prog epic
- Opening cut from Panic! At the Disco's "Beatlesque" album
- Talking Heads Hit Single
- Erez Eisen's psychothropic eurodance project
- Song off "The Stranger"
