Sweet Georgia Breezes has completed most of an album and wonders what your audio engineers think of the songs on it. There's some potential for a single, but Sweet Georgia Breezes has not commented on whether they would like one to be released.

They perform a lot of moderately-funky novelty rap songs while wearing their preposterous cheesecloths-draped-from-sombreros masks. The first three, "We Are Wild", "Make Ya Move" and "Freakit" are all along these lines. Next, they play a slow ballad number called "Behind the Mask". Although the lyrics could potentially be moving, the wavering nasily out-of-range vocals and the ultra cheesy 80's piano-pop instrumentals leave your engineers snickering. Next they perform "Wocca Wocca", a silly but catchy funk tune where they display their musical talent, as low-class as it might be. Next is their hit, Bass-Hole Bop, which is a nearly perfect rendition and which your engineers praise for being a "studio double". Then, after they had left you impressed, they come out with one of the worst pieces of music you have ever heard. "Kool Kidz" is a cheesy, synthy pop number which romanticizes the materialism and superficiality of middle-class teen life. Your engineers describe it as "We Built This City" without the soul. Then they dance about and do a brief rap, which they call "Woofers N Tweeters". After the audition they leave a business card on your desk and promptly leave. |
