Sure, I'm not arguing that architecture didn't have phallic symbolism behind it. I just questioned the original postings.

Furthermore, I don't know that we should go so far as to assume these ancient males were so in love with themselves they erected monuments to their own phallic. Biology has a strange way of moving towards the most efficient.

What they could built, and what was best for the weather may have been penis shaped. Mushroom houses, which aren't so dissimilar are actually structurally fairly sound and require less geometry.

I think I've been scarred after seeing some of those pictures.

I don't think penises are ugly (well, I know, biased as hell) but I do think some are humorous looking. Part of that probably stems from when men (myself included) name their ****s. I've even seen men go as far as to talk to their ****s in public.
