In my case, guys and girls find me funny, but I find that I can only be funny when I feel 100% comfortable with the situation I'm in. When I'm funny, I'm really funny, like completely out there, uninhibited, hilarious. Otherwise, I'm as unfunny as Little Britain.
Therefore, I'd say it depends on the women, and the situation. And I like Phoebe! Not my favourite Friend (Ross and Rachel ftw) but still has her funny moments.

Liesssss.
Also the people who voted "no" clearly haven't been to Scotland... *tumbleweed* but no seriously, some of my women friends are MUCH funnier than male friends. Women can be just as funny as men, if not funnier than some at times.

The big problem is that Men and Women have different senses of humor, like women might not find redneck or toilet humor to be funny.
Or... Like when a guy tells a joke, and all the guys laugh but that one girl in the group just stares in disgust and says, "That's Mean", than you just feel like a douche. |

I have two friends (both girls) who I find really funny. Both are funny in the spontaneous/hyper, but one of them's actually really witty.
However, it's mostly guys that I've found funny. Same goes for stand up comedians (the exception is Margaret Cho). I guess it really just depends. |

Anyway, I think funniness really depends on the woman. I'm a girl/woman and people think I'm funny. My favorite comedian is Wanda Sykes, she's hilarious. It really does depend.

For example, I am the proud owner of the nickname "Assmonkey2." That's what my own child calls me, because he calls himself "assmonkey." We giggle about this when his dad isn't listening. We also toot little fart musicals. If you can take it toilet low, I guarantee you, I can take it lower. Sewer low. I think you're funny in a funny way, anti-war! You use self-deprecating humor. I've read that women tend to use self-deprecating humor and tell funny stories from their lives more often than men, such as if I were to describe how someone broke up with me using a post-it note.
