I put sometimes because I guess women aren't excluded completely from being funny, I've just never seen a female stand-up comedian who's made me laugh. Especially Jo Brand. I really do hate her.

I like Ross the most of the guys but I do have issues with him.

Just thought I'd say;
Chandler/Joey > Monica > Rachel > Ross > Phoebe I've gone for 'sometimes' too, but only because the only British female comedians that I like and can think of at the moment are Jenny Saunders and Dawn French (even if an episode of the Vicar Of Dibley is about as funny as being mugged). Not that I think men are naturally better comics, just that women don't get anywhere near the same amount of exposure in that field of the media for whatever reason, at least from what I can tell (I'll admit I'm no expert). Also, is it just me or are all Irish girls automatically hilariously witty? Seems like the case from the ones I've met over time. |

I dont agree witht he whole "women can't be funny" idea. I have a large group of friends consisting of roughly 9 females (including me) and I'd say that they were all absolutely hilarious, some more than others obviously. I'd be quite offended if someone didn't find me funny for the sole reason I was a woman. A few of the girls are funnier than the guys I hang around with too.

Paloma is the funniest person here for me. I've met a lot of girls in person who are very funny too, and my mom has a great sense of humor.
