It's a cop out. Some people like to keep it PC.

I don't think Vanilla is being sexist for asking the question, being a girl herself. But I am pretty appalled by several of the statements being made, especially by CunningStunt and Crash. |

And that isn't the case for men also? As in, people in general?

Yes, of course it is.
I voted 'no', just to be sexist really. I know 2 f*cking hilarious girls. I genuinely don't think woman in the media are funny, woman stand ups are terrible. I stand by that. I thought it would be a land slide victory for the 'yes' option.. |

Then this whole debate is pretty pointless now that we've reached that agreement.

But the media isn't really an accurate account of reality now is it? I know plenty of women with a good sense of humor. |

I think as a general rule, men are far funnier than women. But you get the occasional bint that is just f*cking hilarious. And women just aren't funny in the media, if that's really sexist then so be it. But sure, women can be funny. I appreciate it more when I meet a hilarious girl. |

You should've been born a feminist. VEGANELICA's twin sister perhaps? |

I've always felt more accepted by females than males, though only as a friend and not sexually. I used to be bitter about that when sex was all I cared about (and in my bitter teen years I actually was sexist against women, I was a pretty terrible person back then) but I got over that phase. I value friendship more than I value getting laid, don't get me wrong, being a virgin still sucks, but women I can always communicate with better.
I think a combination of an absent father and the way I've been treated by my male peers throughout my lifetime has accumulated into a more negative opinion of males overall. In addition to the lack of interests I share with other males. I wouldn't want to be put into the radical feminist category. I despise a lot of so called feminists who seem to express more shame in their gender than pride. And I'm certainly nowhere near as hardcore as Vegangelica. |
