I agree with your first sentence because that's about societal expectations. But I disagree with your second sentence. Neurotypical individuals are undergoing lots of brain and chemistry changes at your age. Frontal lobe myelination is still completing, sexual identity is manifesting and these carry real behavioral consequences with them.
That's not to say it's always automatically bad behavior or that you will act like every other 18 year old, but it certainly has an influence on behavior overall.
