I honestly do not understand why people who claim religion is a crock of shit still hang onto traditional views of an afterlife. I guess it all stems from our irrational fears of death.
I imagine my afterlife will be something like my prelife -- that is, nonbeing. Nothing for me to worry about.

I think this thread is more about the idea of someone's personal hell rather than anything to do with an afterlife.

But when I hear 'hell' I just think of hell fire and brimstone. First image that comes to mind. But my personal hell happened last April.. |

In fact the whole "lake of fire" imagery lends somewhat of a comical interpretation of itself. What the hell (no pun intended) would you worry about fire for anyways, once you're dead? Oh and... MOAR LARSON:

If it's any consolation Real have always been my preferred Spanish team.
Few friends have always preferred Barca. I remember when you gave us a seeing to at the Bernabau 3-1 in 2003(?) and THAT Ronaldo hat trick. got subbed and even we clapped him off. I felt we deserved to go through overall on the tie but oh well, we got to see THAT Zidane goal. |
