Vinyl is making a comeback and I got rid of all mine. Most of it was metal/rock from the 80s. I had some rare collectors editions, but I got rid of them too. I have issues with clutter, so I don't like keeping stuff I'm not going to use.
I was reading an article online a few weeks ago saying vinyl was becoming popular again, but I doubt it'll ever be mainstream popular to be honest. |

I used to have a little bit of vinyl, but I sold it because I didn't really have the space or anything to play it on.
I have like 10 cds, and all of them are secondhand. There's a chain of stores around here called Rasputin's that buys and sells secondhand dvds/cds, and that's where I've gotten pretty much all of them. But I download pretty much everything otherwise. It's easier, especially if it's a band I've got mixed opinions on.

I feel like an ass downloading music, it kind of ****s over the band you like. But the main reason I do it is just I don't have money to be buying albums that I really want, they might be cheap, but in the long run it builds up.

I like to own a physical copy of the albums I own. Albums stored on the computer just aren't the same.
I tend to favour CDs for reasons of space; vinyl's nice but just wouldn't be practical for me. I don't see vinyl ever achieving its old level of popularity; CDs are far too convenient, relatively speaking. |

All I do is buy CDs of music, I dont download music, I find it more rewarding to go to a record store and finding it other than going onto a music download thing and finding it there. It's just my personnal preference.

I buy vinyl records and, when I have to, CD's.
I do download music to get to know it. It's completely legal here in the Netherlands. Downloading only makes me buy more CD's and records, since I like to have something tangible (is that even the right word to use here? google translate tells me to )
