Dr. Spock was the worst thing to happen to child care since the ancients ate their young. There's a difference between a light tap on the behind and abuse. It's only nessicary at a certain age and kids don't cry because it hurts, they cry because they're in trouble. Psychological problems my butt, the alternative gave us brats.
