shenanigans, all my answers were correct, this game is an idiot.
|
The language selection is pure genius.
|
I beat it with Saetia.
|
It is really easy to beat. Just think of anything remotely unmainstream and you've won.
|
I won, but it got Tegan Quin in 28 questions.
|
I stumped it.
It asked me 29 questions, and the followup questions were all wrong. My subject was: Earth My answer was: Lake Goang (acid lake in Indonesia) |
It is easy to beat, but its' still fun none the less.
|
It got the band Ride in 17 questions, but took 22 to guess Kurt Cobain. My guess is actually the more mainstream your answer, the harder it'll be to get because of all the morons that feed it incorrect info
|
It got Frank Zappa and Conan in 16 Q's.
It couldn't figure out TMV. |
You were thinking of Johnny Thunders.
Are you young? You said No, 20Q was taught by other players that the answer is Yes. What kind of idiots are playing this game. |

that's the worst 20Q i have ever played ... it was never close ... i always won.
and it asked stupid questions all the time, even if i had answered them previously. |
Beat it with Rites Of Spring.
|
this is amazing good fun.
I beat the simpsons with "hell's satans" but its killing me in music. It got Jack White and the Pixies fairly quick. edit: whats funny and I'm sure you'll poke fun at this one, is it asked on the third question once if I was female, then later up in the 20's its guessing males like Joe Jonas. Does the game know itself? |

I tried and I stumped it, it couldn't guess nyckelharpa or Area 51.
|
I was playing around with the handheld version of this game a few days ago, I was thinking of cocaine and it guessed table salt, not bad I 'spose.
|
I tried John Lennon twice ... and in both it didn't get it altho it used 30 questions !

Maybe you don't know how to play the game. I'm going to give John Lennon a shot right now... Edit: http://i27.photobucket.com/albums/c1...blication1.jpg Yeah...17 and I didn't even know how to answer 3 of those... Quote:
This posting wasn't about Morrisey...right? |
well it did ask me:
Are you British? YEAH then 2 questions later Are you american? NO then the next Are you British? and after answering No to are you more than one person ... ir recommended The Beatles ... now that's stupid i think it was having a bad day or something ... that page wasn't working ... i think i know how to answer questions. |
Can't guess The The to save it's life.
|
I've gotten to the point where I do easy ones on purpose, it finally won when I did Bob Dylan.
|
26 guesses for DJ Krush. Think's it's the shit but I owned his ass.
|
Poor thing doesn't know who Billy Sherrill is.
|
i destroyed it, although i am impressed that it's first guess was kyuss. with the band being sleep, it was extremely close but then decided to go and have a laugh.

You said Doubtful, 20Q was taught by other players that the answer is Probably. (debateable but whatever) Were you popular in the '90s? You said Yes, 20Q was taught by other players that the answer is No. (Uh, yeah that's the only time they were actually recording/playing.) Did you impact music history? You said Yes, 20Q was taught by other players that the answer is No. (I guess influencing an entire generation of stoner rock bands doesn't count?) Did you tour in the last two years? You said Yes, 20Q was taught by other players that the answer is No (reunion tour in may, the only one ever) |
It's only as clever as it's users so that's its major flaw, yeah. See also: Most other websites ever made.
|
wow this thing sucks
thinking CANADIAN... the FIRST question that comes up when you think about a CANADIAN person is - are you american.... this is quite possibly the dumbest website i've ever visited. |

Yeah I'm not entierly sure what the point of that section is but my guess is that people from a given nationality are going to have a certain vantage point?
Also, given that it comes first its to eliminate some things. Despite what you'd read on these boards, many American's aren't familiar with the shows they watch in the UK. So it may be weeding things out like that. But with music, Canada for example had been far more in line with Britain than the states have. My understanding is Oasis gets as much play up there as they do back home, while their more recent stuff sees mostly rock radio appeal in the states. I don't know that "thinking canadian" eliminates American things though... And don't beat up on yourselves. You gave us Nickleback too. |
I tried The Simpsons one and it got my Dancin' Homer pick in nineteen questions.
Pretty sneaky, sis. |
Pathetic machine, couldn't get Walter Becker after more than 30 questions. Thought he was Syd Barrett or Lenny Kravitz of all people.
