I'm not sure if that was all ironic (or sarcastic, whatever) but I actually like that idea.

Once he learns how to behave in that sub forum, then and only then, would he be allowed back into the community. Any decent threads made during his time in the 'rehab' forum will be moved to the correct forums on MB on his release.

A bit like a mental hospital, or a prison for rehabilitating problem members.
Obviously, corryallen wouldn't be the only inmate. I can think of a few others that would need to join him in there.
The mods wouldn't have to run around cleaning up after him because it would be contained all in one place.
His progress would be in his own hands.

He's already admitted he like's the place and needs time to settle in.
Surely that's better than banning him?
Now that's what I call thinking outside the box RT. Sounds like a plausable idea to me.

There would maybe concern that some members would post in the 'Rehab' forum simply to take the piss.
This wouldn't be tolerated and anyone attempting to do so would run the risk of joining them.
That's not to say the whole concept shouldn't be treated lightly without a sense of humour.
We're not out to humiliate anyone.

it's a bit weird how much you guys care about this kid. I've never seen him as an annoyance, but i usually don't even notice posts either. either ban him or close this thread, my god this is stupid.

If cory went in voluntarily, it wouldn't be a problem.
As for some of the others...well if they don't like it, they can always fuck off.

What it will prove once and for all, are the real intentions of some of our borderline resident trolls.

See, if we ban him, we're bad, but as the poll suggests, if we do nothing...

We can't win can we?

Delete his posts but don't ban him.
Let him start anew.
