King Missile (any incarnation I II or III). (this is a pretty mad avant garde band lead by no other than John S. Hall) |

I know you aint a big King Missile fan like myself Secondly, I have been into Primal Scream for a long time: have all their albums: Sonic Flower Groove (1987) Primal Scream (1989) Screamadelica (1991) Give Out But Dont Give Up (1994) Vanishing Point (1997) XTRMNTR (2000) Evil Heat (2002) Riot City Blues (2006) Beautiful Future (2008) They are a great band. The lead singer, Bobby Gillespie was the drummer in The Jesus & Mary Chain (another great band) before he formed Primal Scream. I always knew they were underrated and always have been, perhaps due to the fact that they change their style on almost every album they put out. My favourites include 'Screamadelica' (1991) which I have had for a long time. 'Loaded' is pure bliss man. I also love 'Give Out But Dont Give Up' (1994) 'Jailbird' rocks! 'Riot City Blues' (2006) got me back into them in a sense as I didnt really dig XTRMNTR or Evil Heat that much. There is a song called 'Accelerator' that is really good though & its on one of those albums. More recentley I was finishing up on the albums I hadnt got by them yet & 'Vanishing Point' (1997) is excellent. 'Beatiful Future' (2008) I wasnt that keen on, but still an alright record. Heres some cool vids of them songs I like: I couldnt find a video for the studio version of 'Loaded' but found something interesting: Such a great opening riff man- its contageous. I used to listen to this all the time on my mp3 player. I love the tracks they did with George Clinton on the 'GOBDGU' album. 'Funky Jam' & the title track. Back to the original topic: Pain Of Salvation
