I just did a science fair project on whether coke, pepsi, or sierra mist was more corrosive on the human body by testing on steaks. after watching these steaks rot in my garage for 3 days, i concluded that coke was slightly more damaging than pepsi, and the only sierra mist did was make the steak lose its color. but i still like coke the best :thumb:

Also, coke isn't really corrosive to the human body that's why stomach bile is as strong as it is. |

Either that or Cream Soda. Even though the vanilla makes it soft and light similar to cream soda. |
I love cream soda!

Dr.Pepper... which I think is either technically coke or Seven up. I forget which.

You're both so wrong. It's made by the Dr. Pepper/Snapple Group. Except for Europe. In Europe it's owned by Coke.
|
One has a sweeter taste, and the other has more carbonation. It's more what I'm in the mood for. I'll drink any flavor of soda though, it really doesn't matter.

Coke or Pepsi.
Discuss.

Only if it's Mexican Coke. That stuff is the bomb.
Pepsi is not the bomb in any way, though the company does make Dr. Pepper, so I forgive them. |
Based on my own taste buds, I have a hard time imagining anyone actually liking Pepsi. To me, Coke has way more dimension and a certain tangy flavor that Pepsi lacks. Pepsi is fizzier and only has the "sweet" dimension, even though coke is probably sweeter. But, like most people who have posted, I'm a big Dr. Pepper fan.
In a double blind test I did in the twelfth grade, I preferred Coke to Pepsi. |

Screw the Tamarindo, it tastes like bad tea.
The grapefruit Jarritos is where it's at, though. |

The other flavors are still awesome, though. |

One of the cool things about living in a town with a large Mexican population is more stores stock the Mexican coke and sell it individually, and not just little corner grocery stores, I was at Walgreens the other day and I found it there, same with another grocery store called Food Source. |

I wish they sold Mexican coke here. I had it once when I was in California.

All my local stores sell Mexican coke. Walmart sells individual bottles, which is great. Just recently I went to a pizza restaurant and they sold only the Mexican kind. I was pleased.

I like Pepsi way better, i've probably only had coke like twice.
|
I read up on the Pepsi challenge, and found out that a big part of its success was that Pepsi is sweeter, so it's nicer in the short run (at least for people that prefer it to be sweeter). I can't believe there's some people that think there isn't a perceptible difference. I can taste the difference in waters. Don't feed me that bullshit. One of my all time favorites is St. George's, while one of the worst I've ever had is Aquadeco. So smooth and almost buttery, even a bit sweet. I had a hard time finishing it.

Jesus ****ing Christ! I saw that this thread had gone on for like twenty eight pages, so I assumed I was missing out on some random but hilarious conversation that had somehow evolved from the original topic. But no, you people seem to have created twenty eight pages that are actually about soft drinks. |
Haven't drunk them in years, but always remember Coke tasting better.

Pepsi is definitely a better drink than Coke. And also the Pepsi company makes Mountain Dew, which is the greatest (non-alcoholic) drink ever made.
