Oh and I voted for coke.

Yeah, I remember Surge. I remember that in high school, there was rumor going around that drinking it would shrink a guy's package, and so all the boy's got paranoid and stopped chugging it.

Pepsi's better

p7byrd 01-23-2010 12:07 PM

Coke.

Pepsi is too sweet.

IloveitLOUD 01-23-2010 04:21 PM

Diet coke!

Zer0 01-23-2010 04:53 PM

Coke from a can, Pepsi just doesn't taste as good. Pepsi has almost disappeared off the market here though, Coca-Cola basically has a monopoly at the moment.

Stone Birds 01-23-2010 04:59 PM

to be truthful i don't like either, i'm a dr. pepper man myself, but if i had to choose it'd be pepsi

thomasracer56 01-24-2010 10:23 PM

coke. sprite you can drink a few hours later, and it's better for an unsettled stomach, just as long as it's warm.

Herocon 04-17-2011 01:21 PM

Coke or Pepsi?

Ok, this is an easy on.
  • Coke
  • Pepsi

I personally like Coke more, it tastes better :)

Wayfarer 04-17-2011 01:36 PM

Vanilla Coke is the only soda I even like outside of Dr. Pepper, so I'll go with Coke.

Do they still sell that? I haven't seen it in years.

Paedantic Basterd 04-17-2011 01:38 PM

I have not seen vanilla coke in Canada in absolute ages, but I've seen it in just about every other country I've visited.

And it's still fantastic.

There's only one store I've seen it at.... and I just so happen to live next door to it. :D

I wonder why they stopped selling it everywhere else around here though, from what I remember everyone liked it.

DoctorSoft 04-17-2011 02:51 PM

Pepsi. Coke tastes really... I don't know, syrupy.

Burning Down 04-17-2011 03:18 PM

I like both though. It's like the Mac vs PC thing. Both for me.

Batty 04-17-2011 04:10 PM

What's Pepsi ?

Pepsi - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

They don't sell it in Australia?

Alfred 04-17-2011 04:29 PM

Pepsi doesn't quench my thirst the way Coke does, it's way too light and feels watered down. Coke for me.

Anyways, I too wish they sold the other flavors of Coke (Vanilla, Cherry) here in Canada. That's why I'm going to pick some up this Easter weekend when I cross the border. :D

I like Coke's after-taste more though.

The diet is not too bad. But then again, is full of aspartame instead of real sugar. And ginger ale is NASTY.

pooka 04-17-2011 05:51 PM

im allergic to artificial sweeteners.

and my diabetes keeps me from enjoying regular sweets but i can have soda for some reason.

im screwed like that.

Wayfarer 04-18-2011 03:39 PM

Oh, good, there's a poll up now.

I'll go with Coke, 'cause you can't snort Pepsi off a hooker's arse.

They should make that their new slogan.

s_k 04-18-2011 05:16 PM

Pepsi. I think it's a bit more refreshing and it bubbles a bit less (I don't like bubbles in my drink. I like them in my bath tub, but I don't think my bathwater).

I think there is less, but they're bigger. When I take a sip there's so much carbonation it makes my eyes water. I think in coke there's more, but they're smaller/finer. It makes it feel more refreshing to me. I also think it helps cut the sweetness. Pepsi is like a punch in the mouth, coke is more subtle. That being said, the coke in the glass bottle is the BEST kind. It's so damn good.

Oh, and because I'm a design freak, I admire coke's branding. I mean, their logo hasn't changed since 1885! Craziness.

djchameleon 04-20-2011 11:19 AM

Neither! that poll is so limited

I do like Sprite over 7-UP so whichever company makes Sprite. I don't even remember anymore off the top of my head.

That's coke. I believe Sierra Mist is Pepsi's version.

Coca Cola owns Sprite and 7-UP? you sure?

I was pretty sure that 7-UP was Pepsi.

Ohh no! I was specifically saying that Sprite was made by Coke. 7-Up is owned by Dr. Pepper/Snapple. However Pepsi has the rights everywhere else in the world, so Sierra Mist is strictly a U.S. thing.

Thom Yorke 04-20-2011 12:56 PM

Coke for sure. Dr. Pepper is my favourite though.

Mr November 04-20-2011 02:31 PM

No wonder you like Coke because you also like Dr. Pepper which is the worst of them all.

Not only does it attack your tastes buds but it has this awful after taste.

ThePhanastasio 04-20-2011 03:17 PM

Coke makes me feel like I'm growing fur on my teeth and tongue. I don't really like soda all that much, but I'll take Pepsi.

djchameleon 04-20-2011 03:30 PM

The only good thing that Coke and Pepsi is good for is cleaning rust off of metal.

That was me. It was one of the grossest things to have ever come in contact with my taste buds.

Edit: Both and Neither added as poll options.

CanwllCorfe 04-20-2011 04:55 PM

I love Ginger Ale! I also like the seasonal Cranberry varieties. I'd like to create my own natural soda with just some seltzer water, some kind of fruit concentrate (any kind of berry would be fantastic), and maybe some kind of sweetener if need be. If I had to it'd just be good ol' sugar.

Ginger Ale can be a bit rough at times but I only drink it as something to help with upset stomachs and it works great for that.

Especially if I'm all out of ginger root to make ginger tea.
