Besides, isn't there a soap called Zest?
"you're not fully clean unless you're Zest-fully clean". Remember that? Yea buddy, there's soap in that drink.

100% Natural Soap Soda... there's an idea.

Well it's got to be better than Shasta, which I'm fairly certain contains cyanide.

I heard Apple Juice maybe Apple Cider contains arsenic.
And decaffeinanted Colas have formaldehyde.

On a lighter note,
If I am just drinking a cola by itself, I like Pepsi-Cola better then Coca-Cola; but if I am a hamburger and fires then it has to be Coca-Cola.

I think most people drink soda. It's one of the few topics everyone can relate on.

Farfisa 06-04-2009 09:36 AM

I've been drinking nothing but tea lately... it's much better for you so i've heard

I've heard tea can actually be quite bad for you.

You're on the crazy sauce sir.

Well there's no denying that of course. But seriously, tea contains alot of tannin acid and 'empty' calories. Most tea has more calories perserving than beer.

Arizona is supposedly the worst tea you can drink. I read that somewhere in a yahoo article.

p.s. More beer is always good.

Freebase Dali 06-04-2009 01:47 PM

Tea is bad for my taste buds. That's all the discouragement I need.
Although, if I squeeze inordinate amounts of lemon into it to drown out the flavor of tea, I'm able to drink it without vomiting.

I got a nasty case of epydidimitis from too much tea...

Worst pain I've ever felt.

For the sake of relevance: Pepsi> Coke.

Coca Cola is too..."spikey" for me. If that makes sense, that is.

Then all you're doing is adding more acid to the already acidic tea, bad for the stomach.

I hate tea, tea killed my father...

Thank you for the testimonial. See everyone I told you tea sucks.

Thats only if you put too much whiskey in it...

No seriously I know what you mean, Coke does have a stronger bite to it.

I should probably stop eating jalapenos straight from the jar then.

It will catch up with you later on in life. I had a bad case of gastritis a few years ago in my heavy drinking days and it was just awful. I had to lay off for a long time to recover. i have to say I have almost fully relapsed though, I have no will power.

I drink pretty regularly, never really gave any thought to what it was doing to anything but my liver.
I do eat spicy food obsessively as well. Grew up that way. Who knows, I probably have a hole in my stomach by now.

You got testicular inflammation from drinking tea? Maybe you did it wrong. ;)

Tea can indeed contain tannins, but I wouldn't worry about those. The calories idea here seems a little crazy though. I'd say you're only correct about that when people drink their tea with a lot of sugar. :p:

trouserjazz 01-14-2010 05:07 PM

Coke tastes so much better than Pepsi whuch is far too sugary in taste. Coke manages to hide that taste better.

Anyway I drink neither as they are both disgusting both in terms of health and in the morality of the company.

ElephantSack 01-14-2010 06:34 PM

Do you perform statistical analyses on a regular basis?

Petula07 01-17-2010 12:07 PM

For me it's Coca-Cola. But I don't drink it often, I prefer tea :)

Scissorman 01-17-2010 12:31 PM

coca-cola products taste better, but Pepsi products are cheaper.

Guybrush 01-19-2010 03:52 AM

Here they cost the same.

VEGANGELICA 01-19-2010 02:29 PM

I hate both Coke and Pepsi vehemently. I call any carbonated high fructose syrup beverage "The Drink of the Devil."

Does it show? :) My reasons for despising soda companies and their products are pretty well described in trouserjazz's post:

Soda companies prey on humanity's weakness for sugary crap foods, encouraging people to make the bad choice of guzzling down sugary, acidic, caloric drinks devoid of any other nutrients.

Meanwhile, publically funded food science departments at universities spend money on research aimed at reducing the costs of producing high fructose corn syrup so that sodas (and other junk food) are cheaper. Then the soda companies benefit monetarily while charging people large sums for essentially sugar water. The people end up addicted to caffeine in Pepsi and Coke, leading to perpetual consumption and greater risk of obesity and type II diabetes.

No oh no! Don't tell me the companies have gotten to you!?! You are lost, man. Lost. First it's Coke and Pepsi. Next it'll be coffee, jitters, irritation, and gum disease.

Ha no. I drink it, but not that often, certainly not often enough to be considered addicted.

But it still tastes good;)

edit: just realized that out of context it would sound like we're talking about alcohol.

Dr.Seussicide 01-19-2010 06:33 PM

Mountain Dew tastes awful anyways.

Dr.Seussicide 01-19-2010 06:37 PM

DON'T THE DEW! :O

That commercial's really off then...

But fine, I like sprite, I guess it'll do mum, lol

kouki 01-21-2010 09:49 AM

Does anyone remember the soda: SURGE!!!!!
Those commercials where pretty dumb, but I was a fan of the drink.SURGE!!!!!!

Oh and I voted for coke.

Cadrian 01-21-2010 12:23 PM

When it comes to Coke and Pepsi straight up I prefer a Pepsi. but Coke has pretty off products then pepsi by far!

My Favorite Sodas used to be Pepsi and Mountain Dew but since I switched to diet sodas a year ago.

I am hooked on
Cherry Coke Zero (Amazing!) Ive had friends come over and not notice they were drinking diet

Chery Diet Dr Pepper ( This might be the best diet drink out there)

Diet Mountain Dew ( this is my coffee in the morning, I needs the caffeine not the best drink though)

I will drink diet coke if I got to, but Diet pepsi no way.
