so you're saying unarmed men took down the Luftwaffa? Doesn't that make it seem like less of a feat to begin with?

Are you saying that taking down an aircraft unarmed is less of a feat than shooting one down with a weapon?
Anyways...Russia had more weapons than Germany...fact. Their production of weapons was unparalled. Maybe at the beginning of the war on the Eastern Front the Soviets were poorly armed and there were possibly not enough arms to go round. Considering the size of the Russian army...that's not a surprise to me. |
