Well first of he did'nt actually "RUN" away he kinda slithered. But the story is very true. My mom was making pop tarts in the toaster and left them in too long. So they caught on fire and the fire spreaded to the cabnets then the ceiling then all hell broke lose. My mom picked up the snake and threw it into the front yard away from the house. I guess she could'nt find him afterwards. I'm kinda of sad still. snakes are great pets. I hate cleaning their poop up though. It's dry and hard. eww.

You're lying. Your last statement: "Is'nt he cute =]" directly states that is your snake, Patches." You didn't specify it was the same kind of snake as yours and not your actual snake - if that were the story you wanted to go by at the time of posting I doubt you would have worded your statements in such a manner that it seems the pronoun is in direct relation with the proper noun (as it usually is.)

Perhaps I should be ashamed to say this but I really miss The Beautiful South (they split up a few years back)
I remember when I heard they had just split up due to 'musical similarities', I felt like almost crying lol which is kind of ****ed up in a way...

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/low/entertainment/189962.stm- this documents one of my favourite songs they ever did- 'Look What I've Found In My Beer'.

To me they were the perfect Pop group (one of the few I actually really like- but I dont really tell many people lol) & also I think Paul Heaton is a very talented lyricist & doesnt get enough credit for it (IMO).

No snakes will not bite you if they are bred captive. UNLESS they are put on the ground. When they are put on the ground instinct kicks in and they want to hunt. So then you have to deal with little nips from him. These snakes fangs are'nt very big about 1/4 inch to 1/2 inch big. When they bite (If they get pissed enoughe to do so) it dose'nt hurt anymore than a beesting.
I personally think snakes are better than any dog with kids. They stick there tounge out as to "lick" you to see if you are threatening or not. But yeah I have been bit by him but the only time i was bit was when i had his food in my hand ( live mouse) and i guess he was real hungry. But by far snakes are great loveable pets.

Thats odd. I dont know too much about pythins, but my uncle was feedin our Boa a rat, and he jumped up for no reason bit my uncle on the nose. My uncle had a broken nose and either got stitches or a b-fly because it rocked his world. I do know however that there are many snakes bred captive that still bite, and also snakes very rarely bite out of anger. I've owned many other breeds of snakes, like rats, corns, garters, racers, water bandits, ring neck, vine, and even a coral one time, to name a few. I grew up on a farm and also had pretty much every animal as a pet at one point. From an alligator to a squirrel. I miss them all very dearly.

And how the hell does a python run away?
