We're what's called a "Proffessional Devolopement School", meaning that for college students majoring in education, Clear View is the place to go to get your hours in the classroom. Education majors have to have a certain amount of hours observing a teacher, helping students, and infact teaching every now and again. It's so that the teachers-to-be have a little bit of experince before they start. If you're planning on teaching at a high school level in Mass, Clear Veiw is the place to be.

And thanks, ha. But I like my school. The students are fairly sane...

I type whicked fast, and I just don't proof it sometimes. But yes, I am. Luckily, teaching music, I don't need to spell too much. Most of what I write on my board(s) is from a score or otherwise.

Unfortunately, no, it's not. The US is a fairly young country, especially compared to England or Ireland or most European Countries that have been around for at least a thousand years. It takes time for a gov't to develope fair policies, and become balanced in world affairs. The US is a prime example of this. Before the US entered WWI or WWII, we were against entering those wars. We felt it was a "European Problem". However, in Veitnam, we were on the complete oppisate end of the scale, in that we jumped right in. Into a war we had no business entering, in my opinion.
However, I think that the other states'll come around. It just takes time.

Red: I marched in my high school band, my college band, and of course The Cadets D&BC. I've had flags hit my hand while I was playing. I had a flag smack me in the jaw, broke my jaw. I've tripped in potholes, and broken both ankles a couple of times each. I've broken both legs, at least twice. Both arms at least 4 times.

Blue: Um, sure? I don't see why not...

It is kind of sad that to have *** marriage legalized is considered good or forward thinking, when it should just be the norm.

I would tend to agree. Everyone should have the opition to marry who they want, regardless of age, sex, or sexual orientation.

thanks, the extra H gave me a good laugh last night - i needed it haha

as for the accident i'm glad to hear it turned out to be over the course of years or decades as opposed to a major catastrophe but still that's harsher injuries than most hardcore TROO METUL types. both legs at least twice and the arms 4 times??? harsh

i'm not against g.ay marriage but the way this got through Parliament is one of the more embarrassing elements of Canadian politics from the last few years. they were pulling MPs who were getting cancer treatments from hospitals to come in to vote on the motion, extending Parliament into their summer break, forcing MPs to be in Parliament from 9am until 11pm, basically whatever was necessary to win regardless of other opinions and views. most people weren't against granting the same legal rights, the biggest issue was the use of the term marriage.

it ended up passing very late on a Friday night about 5 minutes before adjourning for the day when the then governing Liberals noticed that an opposition MP had taken off early.

yes it went through Parliament. technically. i wouldn't call it a victory though. it was all Paul Martin wanting to thumb his nose to his detractors and playing King of Canada for as long as he could, any contentious issue would have sufficed, it just happened to be g.ay marriage. his attitude and ego got him promptly ousted from office (to the point of almost destroying the Liberal party) the following spring. the sponsorship scandal didn't really help them either though.

Every band has a clutz. I was the clutz in my day, haha. We marching in the 4th of July parade, my senior year, my last year marching with my high school band. Me and the other Drum Major, Jess, went to do one of our 'crowd pleasers', in that we would march sideways, facing each other, and throw our batons back and forth. Much like drill teams do. I tripped on a rock or something, and the quads were right behind us. One of the harnesses broke, right has he was sxtepping over me and the quad fell on my legs, broke them. I have fairly weak bones, but one He!! of an immune system. Irish blood is supprisingly strong against most illness. My Jr year, some idiot ran into my podium then ran over my arm with his band's golf cart. During the preview show for competitions. I have a MILLION of these stories.
