Get outside and do something. I know you say you suck at socializing but today is perfect day to practice since you have nothing better to do.

I'm the same way with almonds. Hands down they are my favorite nut.
good luck with the dieting, i'm losing weight myself because I want to get my swoll on for the summer and be able to walk around with my shirt off if I want.
Yeah i'm not religious but I like to say that i'm spiritual. I like to think that there is something bigger out there than just man kind.

practice practice practice.

You need to thrust yourself into social situations like against your will.

I did that and it helped me so much. I would go to bars/clubs by myself and when you first get there it seems kind of lame to be there by yourself but once you start getting comfortable being in social type areas then you are able to open up and start chit chatting with people.

I think what's going to help you is when you start losing weight that is totally going to boost your self confidence. I'm overweight but I have loads of self confidence so that's not an issue for me. It also wasn't an issue when I was trying to overcome being fail at social situations.

as for me, i don't suck at socialising, but it's the same dry routine of meeting frens that bore me, and add to the fact that I'm very lazy to drive

I prefer macadamias. But almonds will do.

I'm a secularistic Gnostic Christian. My idea of God is not conventional but that's how I interpret faith annd spirituality.

my only problem with chatting to girls in clubs/bars is that they tend to get overtly paranoid about me trying to getting under their skirt so anything resembling a sexual innuendo, however innocent, is often misinterpreted. we are quite conservative here

1. The name is Evan. "RVCA" is kind of an awkward handle to go by, but whatever...
2. At the moment, there are three things I plan on never doing: gambling in a casino, smoking pot, and buying a lottery ticket.
3. I've never been drunk, which is odd because I'm 19 and attend this school.
4. Seemingly contrary to points 2 and 3, I don't define myself as "straight edge" in any way.
5. I still like Linkin Park.
6. I spent a lot of my childhood riding dirtbikes in the local Southern Calfornia deserts.
7. I've been in one relationship, with a girl who was two years older than me. She graduated High School before me and went away to college, at which point our relationship became long-distance. That lasted about a year, until we fell out of love while simultaneously realizing how much long-distance relationships suck ass.
8. I'm a really passive and introverted person who is content with spending his Saturday nights in front of the computer, organizing his music and stumbling around the internet.
9. I'm a bit anal about silverware and dish cleanliness. I live with 3 other students and I often re-wash everything that everyone else has already washed.
10. I also cannot stand having any type of substance on my hands. Almost as if in ritual, I will retreat to the bathroom shortly after every meal to wash them. My mom has even coined a term for this behavior, as I will sit with my hands slightly upraised and my fingers slightly spread apart when I am eager to clean them. She calls it "the sticky hands".
11. My roommate snores sometimes and it can get quite violent. I've learned to keep my iPod in bed with me so that when he wakes me up I can put on some calming music (usually Beach House for whatever reason ) to drown him out and go back to sleep.
12. I also live with two girls. I'm fairly certain one thinks I'm gay, and the other is slowly becoming one of my favorite people due to her shrewd nature.
13. Donuts are the motherfucking best.
14. I'm a sucker for animated films and I can't decide if Wall-E or The Emperor's New Groove is my favorite movie from the last decade.
15. Sometimes, I sit on Deviantart and browse through pages and pages of artwork to pass the time. I've collected a fair amount of "favorites". It makes me wish I'd kept up with my hobby of doodling when I was kid. I used to doodle all over everything and I'd like to think I was pretty good at it, but I guess I grew out of it.
16. I also read a lot of fantasy novels as a kid. Redwall, Magic the Gathering, Chronicles of Narnia, Lord of the Rings...
17. My dad was diagnosed with a degenerative brain disease back in 2006. It has completely flipped my life upside down and entirely changed my perspective on life, people, and relationships.
18. My mom is my greatest hero and idol, and I could only hope to be half the person she is someday.
19. I don't watch TV. I'd much rather waste my time on videogames.
20. I'm currently studying Economics and Accounting, but honestly, were I any good at math I'd love to be studying Astronomy or Physics instead.
21. I originally joined this forum to complain about Tom DeLonge's singing voice. Lol.
22. I can ride a unicycle. I taught myself.
23. I prefer dour personalities to overly bright ones. Really friendly and happy people don't quite jive with me.
24. I built my own computer this winter, something I'm pretty proud of.
25. I can't remember the last time I was exceedingly happy about something. I hate to sound like an "emo" as perceived by popular culture, but I've been living under quite the rain cloud for the past several years.

I hate when people seem like they have sunshine coming out of all their orifices.
