Which song do you prefer?
Easy game,
1. you decide, which of the song given in the above post you prefer 2. you name song alternatives, could be done with a certain context in which the song has to be chosen (though that might not influence the actual choice by the following poster, but maybe it does) one thing: if you can't decide, don't post, let someone else answer... I'll start with: It's a rainy Sunday afternoon in winter, you have a cup of coffee/tee/chocolate on your table, maybe you smoke a cigarette, you're wrapped in some blanket, by yourself. You sit in front of the window and look outside. - The Smashing Pumpkins - hummer OR - Pj Harvey - the river OR - Radiohead - house of cards |

oh come on folks, one more try (well, I could imagine playing the game all by myself anyway )
so mine is "house of cards" - love looking out of the window to that song the situation: for some reason you and you friends drunkely participate in some karaoke competition. You're pretty wasted, but want to impress some girl/boy in the group (and somehow figured singing karaoke would be the best way to do) Song choice: Nancy Sinatra - these boots are made for walking Elvis Pressley - jailhouse rock Don Mclean - American Pie Aerosmith - don't want to miss a thing |

Ugh, I wouldn't want to sing any of those in a karaoke, but if I had to choose, I would go with Don McLean's American Pie I guess.
So my scenario is this : You're driving your brother's smelly car by yourself and you wanna listen to some music as there's just crap on the radio. Unfortunately, the only CD he has is this old homeburned thing with early 90s alternative rock on it and on top of everything, it's scratched so only 4 tracks work. The trip is only long enough to listen to one song, so which is it gonna be?

^I think the point is also that - if you answer, you provide the next scenario and the next set of songs. Chop chop!

At least a song choice would have been helpful for the game, right. ok, let's see, I'd play jeremy (but I would be mad it wasn't black). You're about to get married next weekend and your fiancé, quite the romantic one, but unfortunally with a pretty awefull music taste, insists on one of the following songs to do the first dance to: Stevie Wonder - I just called to say I love you Brian Adams - Everything I do (I do it for you) Whitney Houston - I will always love you Donna Summer - love to love you baby |

In reality? I would probably dig my heels in on that one.
I guess if he had a knife to my throat I'd choose Brian Adams. Okay, this one is for guys I guess, since most of you are of the male gender anyway. Imagine your girlfriend insists you choose one of her albums to play while you two are hanging out. You hate chick music, but you don't want to disappoint her. Here are your choices: Sarah McLachlan KT Tunstall The Pretenders Tori Amos Fiona Apple Heart Brandi Carlile (If you're a girl, just pick which one you would want to listen to.) |

Okay, I'm new here (to this forum) and will try to keep this thread going. As a male, I would have to say that I agree with the above poster to a degree. I would limit my girlfriend to only playing, The Pretenders or early Heart!
Okay next question about which song do you prefer -- this is long Classic Rock tunes time: You have the choice of only one of these to ask a dj to play near the end of his program on a Classic Rock station: "Do You Feel Like We Do?" - Peter Frampton "Shine On You Crazy Diamond" (The whole LP version) - Pink Floyd "In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida" (the 28 minute version) - Iron Butterfly "Time Has Come Today" (the whole LP version) - Chambers Brothers "Freebird (live)" - Lynyrd Skynyrd "Kashimir" - Led Zeppelin So, which one do you ask the dj to play as your and his final request of the evening? |
