Roygbiv marquee moon Join Date: Oct 2008 Location: Toronto, Ontario Posts: 759	You CAN get a PC that's much, much cheaper than a Mac, but if you're a regular joe who just wants a computer to work, you probably don't know how to, or don't feel comfortable with installing your own operating system, plus you have to pay for virus/adware/spyware protection, and warranties up the ass (an extended manufacturer's warranty + repair costs) depending on what retailer you buy it from. You may also want to buy a different operating system other than Vista.
