Of course it isnt. it's all make up and you can't get Mermaids from the sewers. People should become inured to this stuff. When it's applied in a 'real life' scenario we then should start the banter.

It's when the August Underground and Nick Palumbo films enter the equation that we have to question what we are watching. Even I cannot make my way through August Underground's Mordum. The violence is'nt the issue. It's my role as 'consumer' that I begin to question.

Bleh, those movies (guinea pig) are more stupid than disturbing. At best, they're unintentionally funny. I would be embarassed had I been the brains behind that crap.

And what's the deal with the funky sound-effects when he chops her up?

The follow on 'Android Of Notre Dame' in the Guinea Pig series is even worse! It's also quite funny though too.
