Whitesnake are pretty much the bottom of the barrel as far as the well known glam metal bands go and yet... and yet... I like them too. Sort of. But it's mostly because their self-titled album reminds me of the rollerskating rink I used to hang out at when that album was new. And that rollerskating rink is where I had my first kiss and where I used to go on most of my little dates with my first girlfriend. I have similar feelings about this song (and several others) from the Dirty Dancing soundtrack:
