The inside story of Hawkwind, one of Britain's wildest acid rock bands. Emerging from the Ladbroke Grove underground at the end of the 60s, the band trailed radicalism and counter-culture in their wake, and have been a direct influence on punk, metal, dance and rave. Includes interviews with some of the band's enduring legends, including bassist Lemmy, writer Michael Moor****, founder members Terry Ollis, Nik Turner and Mick Slattery, and former managers Doug Smith and Jeff Dexter
In other words it's going to be a total hatchet job on Dave Brock

I've read The Story Of Hawkwind and the first thing that becomes apparent is they all hate each other's guts. This should be quite entertaining :D

So it seems that Brock is'nt contributing then? Have got it ready to rec on the digibox anyhow. What book was that Urbs?

Well worth getting , It's pretty hefty (About 600 pages) , lots of great stories of excess , jealousy & backstabbing , and you can still get it from amazon for about £6 or £7.
