Default Greatest Sitcom Tournament

I will post a series of polls lasting a day or two each matching classic sitcoms head to head for you to vote on and decide. The top 64 non-animated shows I could think of made the list. They are split into four categories and seeded between 1-16. The 1-16 winner plays the 8-9 winner in the next round 2-15 plays 7\10 etc. This is absurd rubbish but enjoy!

I only do British sitcoms. The humour is more spiteful!

Can you make a poll with some shows that are actually funny, or atleast with some that you dont have to be over 30 to know about? And how about a cartoon poll, like Family Guy vs. the Simpsons?

What? You don't have Nick at Nite?

As I mentioned no cartoons.

Sorry, but I don't think The Golden Girls are relevant to my generation. =\ But you should of made a cartoon one.

No chance of putting Arrested Development on there somewhere? 90% of the family reunion set isn't relevant to my generation (under 25 yrs old). Best goddamn sitcom to come out of anywhere in the last decade.

Arrested development is awesome.

Part of why I didn't include it is because I couldn't stand to see it lose to one of the bummers out there.

And again with syndication and Nick at Nite everyone could have seen all these shows if they wanted to.

If you don't understand why any Golden Girls reference is funny, then this is not the thread for you.

Feel free to create a similar thread with more modern shows and\or cartoons.

I'm sure it'd have good response.

Naw, no sense in having two sitcom tournaments.
