I think the worst part about Nickelback is Chad Krouger and that godforsaken voice of his....I don't see what is wrong with the rest of the band, dont' really notice them much

I've already admitted that I like music which is seen as sh*tty from a 3rd person perspective. Nickelback can be a bit whiny at times, but they always put out solid, catchy tunes. Chad Kroger has a gargly voice that melds well with their sound.

His voice makes me want to shoot myself. And I have yet to hear a Nickelback song that does not sound like every other Nickelback song, seriuosly. One that was even slightly different might be nice

I like the raspy voice. It actually works for his style, unlike the guy from Hinder who sounds like a twat.

Its like mixing cow poo with horse poo. They do go well together.

^It's one of them, but lets not forget that every nickelback song is a fantastic drinking song, if only for the fact that the only way I can listen to nickelback is to be so ****ing wasted that I don't realize I'm listening to nickelback.

I have to admit to liking Never Again from Silver Side Up but the rest of the album was bland and I caught a vid of them a couple of years back and it was so boring and uninspired.

The odd thing is, is that many bands have been banging this sort of music out for years and gone unnoticed. It exists and always will. 99% of it is NOT garbage. It is just safe music that is all. Uninspired and certainly not my thing but the 80's were jam packed with it. The problem is that people think that this sort of music is some sort of representation of what is going on in music at the time and most of (should) obviously know it isn't.

I don't like Nickleback much at all but that is not some pretense to cover my back from slings and arrows. The British band Feeder are a band I really like but they are commercial, musically unadventurous and much maligned but I don't care. As long as I know there are thousands of bands out there that also appeal to me and are NOT commercial or musically safe then I am fine with liking a song that sounds decent enough on the radio.

If everybody cried and nobody cared is more like my opinion about Nickelback.

I like Nickelback well enough, not something I would play and listen to all the time, but maybe once in awhile.

I bought their first 2 or 3 albums when they first came out. I heard a single by them, for the "first time" on the radio today Ive never heard before, it sounded pretty good.

I'm kinda burnt out on Nickelback though.. to much of one thing is not always good. :p:

I'm not too fond of Nickelback (Like a lot of people it seems...), but they do have some decent singles and I don't mind Dark Horse too much. But the're really pretty unremarkable. I find it funny when people that I know go about saying Nickelback is the greatest rock band ever, when Nickelback is probably the only rock band they actually listen to.

Ha! If only that were true compared to the stadiums they sell out.

Its not like I am any big fan of Nickelback or anything like that, but I find it kinda hilarious after all the fuss, Nickelback still rules the radio and mainstream persona.

Even Canadians turn on Nickelback..:laughing:

Ive always liked Kroeger's voice along with the backup harmony vocals as well. Not to mention that Nickelback kicks ass musically as a band.

Why all the negative reviews and hate? Like it really matters and affects the band anyway..

I'll come outta the closet and admit that I like Nickelback. Hey **** it, they got some pretty catchy songs like Figured You Out.
